This is because of the stretching of the collagen and muscle fibres. This becomes an embarrassment resulting in a loss of self-esteem to the woman. Fortunately there are ways this can be corrected. This can either be surgical by reconstructive surgery or non surgical depending on the severity of the laxity as well as a patient preference.

Vaginoplasty is a standard procedure to reduce the size of the vagina which would have become lax due to age, vaginal deliveries and poor repair of an episiotomy. The procedure tightens out muscles and tissues and excess vaginal tissue is removed. This makes the vaginal opening and canal smaller in size.
The lax vagina is embarrassing to the woman and may result in sexual embarrassment to the woman.
The procedure
The procedure is done in theatre and results in a decrease in the size of the vagina hence better tightening during intercourse and a more pleasurable experience. Of note is that the results are excellent under skilled and trained hands. The procedure is affordable and is no longer exclusive to the rich and famous. The recovery period is 6 weeks before you can engage in sexual intercourse again.

Contributing factors
The woman is unable to have penetrative sex without pain. It also happens when trying to use tampons for the first time. Usually you are unaware until this happens. In severe cases of vaginismus penetration is impossible. This can result in a breakdown of the sexual relationship. Factors which can contribute to vaginismus include urine infections, sexual abuse, anxiety, fear of losing control and misconceptions about sex. Treatment of vaginismus consists of injecting botox into the vagina as a once-off procedure, resulting in cure of the condition.
VULVA REJUVENATION
Skin lightening or bleaching has been part of woman’s beauty for many many years. The purpose of bleaching is to lighten the darkened skin on the vulva. The darkening of the vulva skin can occur as part of aging. This condition can cause a lot of frustration and low self esteem in affected women. The bleaching can be done using chemicals which is called chemical bleaching. This is safe when done by a trained medical personnel. Vulva bleaching can also be done using FemiLift laser.
Though there’s no such thing as a ‘normal’ labia because every woman is different, some women experience discomfort or painful friction against their undergarments and even pain during intercourse as a result of their natural shape. This procedure helps to address these issues by reshaping the labia as required. Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure which involves the resizing and/or reshaping of the labia minora. In labiaplasty, excess skin is removed from the labia minora.
With age the labia majora become thin and appear deflated. The aim of the procedure is to restore the youthful fullness of the labia majora. With age the vulva gets darker and starts to look different compared to the inner thighs. This may result in an embarrassment situation when the woman is undressed. The laser vulva bleaching is a new approach to lightening the vulva area so that it is comparable to the inner thighs. This is a personal preference because Labia do not necessarily have to be the same colour as the thighs as there is a physiological reason for this darkening which occurs at the time of puberty. The G-shot® is a procedure to improve sexual pleasure. The injection is given on the G spot which is an area on the anterior wall of a vagina. This increases the G-spot size. The injection consists of either platelet reach plasma and/or a filler such as hyaluronic acid.
This results in an increase in vaginal orgasms. This has been shown to increase the libido of women having the procedure.
The O- shot® is patented procedure which is done to increase clitoral orgasms. An injection is given around the clitoris using platelet reach plasma and/or collagen. This has been shown to improve the frequency and intensity of clitoral orgasms.
